Sanyo eneloop batteries

Sanyo is definitely thinking ahead with this next-generation nickel metal hydride battery which comes in both AA and AAA sizes. Sanyo's eneloop is the world's first pre-charged rechargeable battery, can be used like a dry cell battery and is there first GAIA product because rechargeable batteries are known to self-discharge. Eneloop batteries are "comparatively more powerful and longer-lasting than dry cell batteries" so states the Sanyo Eneloop press release making them perfect for any kind of audio or video players. Batteries start selling November 14, 2005.
