bombadier-rotax-rm1-go-kart.jpg

The Bombardier Rotax RM1 Go-Kart is yet another project from the trusted manufacturer Bombadier that's no longer labeled as a GO-Kart which is your stereotype toy that travels at a max of 30 m.p.h. because it boasts speeds three times that. The Rotax RM1 Go-Kart boasts incredible acceleration and response. Imagine moving at 12.200 rpm, watch the red LED light as it shows you the best time to shift, now the ESA (electronic shifting assistance) comes into play and it smoothly lets you shift into 2nd gear in less than 0,06 sec. with full power. Sweet! The ROTAX can go 80 m.p.h. in an unmodified version! Going to fast? The Magura 4 disk brake system will provide smooth controlled braking whenever you need it. Unique to the Bombardier Rotax RM1 is the revolutionary chainless 2-speed direct drive train which doesn´t require any servicing so you don't waste any time in the pit area. Also unique is the Rotax electronic reverse which simply lets you travel in reverse and it makes for a great feature for the increasing amount of handicapped racers. Rotax lets you get a taste of Formula One speed (34-horsepower engine) in a kart that even novices can operate. The Rotax RMI sells for a price of around $8,000. Bombardier.
