Grand Canyon Skywalk

One of the seven natural wonders of the world just got cooler, so this summer vacation, take the family to the Grand Canyon Skywalk! Built along the the Grand Canyon’s edge, the Skywalk is a horseshoe-shaped glass walkway suspended more than 4,000 feet above the canyon’s floor and is extended 70 feet from the canyon’s rim. The Skywalk’s three-inch-thick glass bottom allows visitors to look down at over the canyon. Be prepared to be amazed by this architectural wonder that took over one million pounds of steel to make, and can sustain winds in excess of 100 miles per hour from eight different direction. You can experience the thrill for about $25.
