Leigh Aerosystems High Road Personal Sport Plane

It may just be a prototype right now, but Leigh Aerosystems’ High Road Personal Sport Plane looks forward to a promising future. A two place flying automobile, the High Road is getting put through the paces, from aerodynamic analysis, to wind tunnel model design and testing, to stability and control analysis. With performance goals such as FAA certification for instrument flight operations set, this Leigh Aerosystems sport plane/vehicle is speculated to hold 100LL of fuel, be able to cruise at speeds of 180 mph at 15,000 ft., has a 20,000-ft. ceiling and a 500 mile range. On the road, it expects fuel usage of 25 mpg with a 500 mile range. Watch for further developments! Leigh Aerosystems.
