The new ski helmet from POC employs high-technology production methods and a patented design feature that combine hard shell and in-mould for great ventilation and low weight. These hard shell helmets offer excellent impact protection in an extremely thin and light design. Developing this lightweight free ride helmet, POC put extra effort to achieve the best possible ventilation while maintaining maximum protection. The frontal ski helmets basically combine 4 separate ventilation systems in a hybrid of hard shell and in-mould helmet, providing a double-shell solution at the helmet front so the air moves between two layers of shell to avoid creating direct wind. The ventilation holes at the back of these helmets perform as a chimney, pulling air from the front to the rear. A perfect defence against hard impact. POC
