Piaggio Ape Calessino NEV

Reports are coming out of Europe regarding a new electric version of the Piaggio Ape Calessino NEV three-wheeler. Once powered by an eco-unfriendly 422cc diesel engine, the redesigned Ape Calessino now packs an electric motor and a lithium ion battery pack that can take you 75 kilometers, only takes 4 hours to fully charge, and are good for up to 800 recharge cycles and 60,000km. This limited-edition Piaggio NEV (only 100 units will be built) will only be released in Europe, but if you’ve got an €19,900 kicking around (that’s about $30,000 in US dollars), be sure to pick one up!
