The Fort Printers in Galle, Sri Lanka used to be a college so the suites are called the Headmaster's, the Prefect's, History, Geography, and Arts. There are only five suites but each has its own unique features. History, Geography and Arts Suites have high and airy ceilings, exposed original wood beams and polished wood floors. The Headmaster's Suite overlooks a pool in the inner courtyard and a lighthouse. The Prefect's Suite overlooks an azure lap pool and includes a separate shower room with an antique bathtub. The villa is operated as an elegant private residence and offers an imaginative menu that uses fresh seafood and organic, local produce. Two dedicated chefs plan the menu for the day based on guests’ preferences, and lovingly create delicious Sri Lankan curries, grilled fresh seafood and Mediterranean inspired specialties. The hotel also includes a Pool, Alfresco dining, and yoga sessions. If you happen to be in this part of the country check this place out. Rates vary from $150-$250.

The Hydropolis Undersea Resort hotel in Dubai will be the first underwater luxury hotel opening in December 2006. Wait, that can't be true the Posedion Undersea resort is also opening in December 2006. The Hydropolis is structured in three elements: the land station, the connecting tunnel, and the submarine complex. The land station is the reception and welcome centre for the hotel's guests. The connecting tunnel is the lifeline of the complex and not only provides access for guests, but also enables provisioning of the hotel with all the necessary goods. And finally, the submarine complex is the hotel itself with its wide range of unique additional facilities. Included in the resort will be a cinema, cosmetic surgery clinic, marine institute, museum, library and a prayer room. Guests will be able to rise to the surface lay out on the sandy beach and snorkel. Yes the Gulf sun is very fierce, and to solve this problem the Hydropolis will be manufacturing clouds to protect the guests. Clever. Sounds like a new era of resort.

Rent out a room for any anniversary, birthday, or way to get back in her good graces. Rooms are available for weekdays or a weekends and range anywhere from $150-$300 a night to $200-400 a weekend. Defenitly a change of scenary, is the most modest way to say it.
